For a start, I still can’t wear shorts because my left leg is still recuperating from the rashes. The skin is already healing but there’s no way I’d be wearing something that shows my skin. So for the first time in many years, I wore jeans on a Saturday.
The bag was, of course, perfect for the rainy weather. I was previously hesitant to use it because of the brown leather part but it was surprisingly able to withstand the rain with no watermarks whatsoever.
While deciding on where to eat dinner, Mon and I realized that we haven’t tried any of the food from Figaro. Well, we usually go there for coffee and I don’t even consider a muffin we ate before as a representation of how their food was. We then decided to give it a go and order things.
We ordered pan seared chicken, cream dory, potato wedges and a slice of carrot cake. The potato wedges were nowhere near as good as those served in Marciano‘s but they even cost more than the latter. The serving of their food was not also that adequate. I’m not expecting for a humongous, but what we got was still way below what I hoped for. Well, the taste wasn’t so bad after all. As for the carrot cake, it was just, again, okay. Nothing remarkable and Tsoko.Nut Batirol‘s carrot cake was way better than this.
We just satisfied our curiosity of how Figaro’s food would be like, and I think both of us secretly agreed that it will be the first and last time we’re going to eat there. We’ll just stick with their reasonably-priced coffees.
