When I get to the point of being saturated with lots of choices, I tend to just stick to what I love and be done with it. The same thing goes for music. I try to listen to lots of new talents, but I always love a specific artist because he/she/they already is/are the embodiment of that particular vibe in my books. For KPop, 2NE1 now remains to be the only group I genuinely care about. It is only then rightful for me to have my first KPop post about these girls!
I might not be that voracious anymore in the whole KPop scene, but whenever these girls have a new song or video, I eagerly wait for their next image. I still don’t know if their ol’ stylist Yang Seung Ho was still in the mandatory military service; but I’ve expected a healthy dose of Balmain for the promotion of their new song ‘I Love You’. I was not wrong.
From the teaser and up to this performance in SBS Inkigayo, I’ve seen CL wear this jacket from Olivier Rousteing’s first collection for Spring/Summer 2012:

And what about my bias Bom? She opted for a modified version of this dress from Versace Spring/Summer 2012:

I’m just happy that they pushed for ANY of the studded ones and not the dresses with the glittery, starfish detail. And good call for modifying it, as if she had a train because that unmodified dress will surely make her look shorter in spite of her wonderful legs. I have no idea over Minzy and Sandara’s (yes I call her Sandara because she’s always Sandara and NOT Dara to me ^_^) animal print outfits. I have a feeling that the latter’s was Roberto Cavalli. But I would like to stress that the non-use of Jeremy Scott is ALWAYS a good thing for me.
A side note, though. I just felt bad for that parrot on CL’s shoulder in the beginning. The poor thing was flapping like mad and was probably terrified. >_<
ETA:
I just confirmed from this post from YG Ladies that Sandara’s skirt was indeed Roberto Cavalli.
