As today is a holiday (i.e. the 119th Independence Day), I took the whole day to sort my things and clean my bags. I had already run out of leather-cleaning stuff, and I’ve been wanting to drop by SM Megamall to buy some.
It was a quick and breezy ride going there, as there was no traffic. As expected, there were a lot of people inside the mall, though.
Getting the good stuff
I went straight downstairs to the Lower Ground area, where this leather-care Mecca is found. I have been hoping to go there again, but could not find the time as SM Megamall was out of the way.
After careful consideration of what I needed (not to mention foresight of not being able to go back again for months), I was able to buy a couple of products to help me on the day’s agenda.

Sometimes, I cannot believe my luck when it comes to bags. It was so random to chance upon something as cool as this. I just hope that I get to be as lucky with other endeavors that I have. ^_^
I remember seeing this crushed patent leather tote at the Purse Forum years ago. At first, I thought it looked glittery. However, it was just the effect of, well, crushed patent.
Fast forward to last weekend, this beauty landed on my lap (or shoulders to be more correct):

Aside from the Bayswater, the Roxanne is considered as one of the iconic styles from Mulberry. While the design itself has a smaller (Blenheim) and bigger (Rosemary) variety, the Roxanne hit the Goldilocks’ zone for being ‘just right’.

I never had any experience with Balenciaga prior to this Men’s Day bag. I have been extra concerned of what I’ve read about the leather being too delicate and the color being prone to fade. While I am not too keen with a brightly-colored bag, my to-go neutral tendency would do the trick.
So when I finally got this bag last week, I knew beforehand that the body of the bag has received a dye job. I might have forgotten to ask what was the original color, but judging by the color of the faded strap, it might have been gray. Again, I have no idea of these colors as I am colorblind, but my research points out that it might be a faded anthracite as well (whatever that color might be).
